Outside time in April

We had another unusually warm day for spring. Low 80's and it was time to spark up the BBQ and eat outdoors. This was the first time the babies were let out to catch some fresh air.

One month old appointment

Off to the doctor's office again. Connor weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce and Keira at 6 pounds 10 ounces. The doc said that Keira's weight was fine, but Connor should be gaining more. While Keira is very demanding when it comes to eating, Connor takes the laid back approach and enjoys his sleep much more.

Grandma's birthday

Grandma Beth celebrated her birthday and we all went out to the Olive Garden.

Easter

April 8th - The Easter bunny came bright and early and left all the kiddies nice little baskets with lots of candy for the big ones and pluggers for the babies. After the baskets were sorted out, we got all dressed up and went to Church. Once we got home, we found eggs in the yard that the bunny left, then got all sugared up and went to Raymond’s for lunch/dinner. There were plenty of people there for tons of baby holding, so we actually had a chance for a hot meal without having to feed someone else.

Easter Egg Hunts

April 7th - The morning started off with the annual egg hunt at the Moose lodge. Megan got a few eggs and Max cleaned up in his age group. Once we got home and they went thru their loot, we were off to another hunt. This hunt was held at one of Papa George's friends’ houses and he had 1000's of eggs. They both made a killing there.

Bath Time

April 7th - Both the babies experienced bathtime this week. They both really enjoyed it, too. Its hard to see that in the pictures but they both think it's a pretty pleasant time. The transition to the towel though is another story. You would think that we were freezing them to death.

Wolves game (again)

April 7...This time it is Daddy and Megan enjoying a Girl Scouts Wolves outing. Daddy is insistent that she gets all the patches she can for her vest, so they just had to go. It had nothing to do with Daddy's new found love of the game.

Egg time

It’s time for the traditional egg dying. It was fun dunking 3 dozen eggs. The kids always enjoy it and wonder why we can’t do it more times a year.

2 week appointment

April 3rd...It is our 2 week appointment and Grandma Helloween, Max and the 2 nippers hopped in the van for a check up by the doc. Both babies are doing great. It was a quick appointment and off to Walmart we went.
