Lent

So we were all discussing what we are going to give up for lent and how we were going to go about making that happen.

I ask Max what he is going to give up for lent and he says, "One of my sisters". I was afraid to ask how he was going to make that happen.

After nap time was over, I went to go check on the danger twins and found this.

When I first opened the door, they were both under the sheet attached to the mattress. They were just playing and having a great ol time.

Fun with cookie boxes

I picked up all of Megan's 350 boxes of girl scout cookies and placed them in the living room to sort out. But before I could do that, the twins thought it was cool to climb all over the boxes and run thru them like a maze. Max on the other hand built a fort to play in and at one time had his Bakugans standing guard on various boxes.

Congrats on your Purple Belt!!!

It took awhile to do, but Bill is now a purple belt in Tae Kwon Do. He now believes that he is truly part ninja.

Max's Birthday Bowling Bash

Max decided this year he wanted to have his birthday party at the bowling alley. It was a fun time for all of us. Max got to play with his friends and Daddy got to school the kids at bowling. We had pizza and a Wall-e cake. Connor thought it was cool to run down the lanes towards the pins when no one was looking.

Happy 6th Birthday Max!

Today our big boy turned 6. Where did the time go. I still remember him crawling around chasing the cats. His day started off taking Mingma and Papa to the airport for their trip to Mexico. After he returned from the airport, he got to open gifts from us, which included new cap guns, Wii ski and some random boy stuff.. Next he got to go shopping and spend some of his birthday money. He bought a Bakugan holder and the Nerf shooting game for the Wii. He insisted we take him to Applebees for dinner and we had a piece of cake at home for him which he put his sparkler candles on to close out his day.

HOLY NAME CATHEDRAL FIRE

So I finally decide to join the Catholic Church this year and the chuch that we are supposed to go to for our Rite of election with the Bishop, catches fire. This church has been here for over 130 years and it waits until now to do this. hmmmmm maybe its a sign ;)
