Girl Scout Fun

This year Megan's Girl Scout troop chose to go to Libby Lu to spend the money they earned selling cookies. Megan chose a beautiful dress to get all made up in. All the girls got their hair, nails, and face done. They also got to make some bath soaps, body spritz, lip gloss and lotions, by picking and choosing the colors and scents. Once they were all done getting all glammed up or Hannah Montana'd up, they got to sing and dance.

It was a nice cool 93 degrees out today, so I packed up the kiddies and a neighbor girl and off to the pool we went. The kids had a good time cooling off and I even dipped Keira's piggies in the water. She seemed to like it, Connor just slept in the shade in his seat. We only stayed for an hour and that was plenty.

Megan and Max came back tonight and had a great time camping with Grandma Pam and Papa George. Max got to go fishing and Megan learned how to drive :) I dont have any pics from their camping fun, but their smiles were huge when they got home. They missed the babies and we missed them being gone for so long. Thank you Grandma and Papa!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Happy 36th Daddy!!
We went out to dinner Friday night and spent the birthday day just walking around the mall enjoying all the gawking from strangers over the babies.. Max and Megan called and wished Daddy a Happy Birthday from the camper with Grandma Pam. I thought when you get older, you don't require toys for your birthday anymore. I am not sure who I buy more toys for, Bill or the kids.

OK OK, did I sound a bit excited? On Wednesday Grandma Pam watched all 4 kiddies at our house and then since I needed a babysitter for Friday too, she took Megan and Max camping until Sunday. 5 days without having all 4 kids around.. It was kinda strange, but it was quiet. Max was excited to go, he knew he was getting a rocket fishing pole to use and Megan gets to learn how to drive a golf cart.
So when 5 p.m. came and I got home.. They all piled in Grandma's Suburban and away they went.

Sleepovers and Fun

I got home from work on Monday and Megan wanted her friend Nimo to spend the night since I was off on Tuesday. I said sure why not :) They hang out in the basement up to their ears in Barbies and Bratz dolls, never to be seen again. Or at least not until about 10 a.m. the next morning. Well once we all got dressed we headed off to a local gaming center called Peoples Choice. Its similar to Chuck E Cheese. I had some VIP coupons that would treat us to a pizza lunch and free tokens.. So I loaded Megan, Nimo, Max, Connor and Keira up in the van and away we went. We spent a couple hours playing and then it was time to go home.. The kids all seemed to have a good time. I did too!

A day in the park

We packed up most of the fam and headed out to Woodstock for a Wedding Celebration thingy for Sam ( Kate's Bro-in-Law). We spent a couple of hours enjoying the nice weather and Max enjoyed playing football and badmitten. Connor figured that Max wasn't using his chair, so he decided he would sit there :)

Missing Husbands...

When I went to bed last night, it was after midnight and I thought Bill had joined me. I think I must have fallen asleep quickly and maybe he sneaked out. I haven't found the robe and the wizard hat yet, but I did find him in the recliner this morning.



****Update*** Book finished at 9:30 p.m Sunday and he was kind of disappointed in the way it all ended. I won't say anymore.

Pirate Fun at Trustmark

It was time for the annual family fun fest at Heidi's work. There was tons of food and games for the kids. They got to ride down the giant slide and do the chicken dance.

Here are some of the latest pics of Connor and Keira. They are both getting so big and enjoy being around other people. They both enjoy eating their Oatmeal cereal and a fruit each night before bed. They both sleep thru the night and Mommy and Daddy couldn't be happier :)

They head out for their 4 month old doctor appointment next week for the official weigh in, and I'm curious to see how many pounds she has on him. Here's a movie of them.
