New addition to the family

Well since Max left, we were starting to feel pretty lonely. So we felt we needed to expand our family once again. I am sure watching the movie Ratatouille over and over again had nothing to do with this.

Hardcore school

While we were waiting for our bus to pick us up from the aquarium, we saw this bus waiting for kids to board. This must be another option for some of the alternative school kids.

Shedd Aquarium

Since it was spring break and we haven't been to the big city in a while, we hopped on the train and headed out to the Shedd Aquarium. Everyone was quite good on the train and even on the bus, on the way to see the fish. There were plenty of fishies to see and all the kids seemed to enjoy the trip. This was the twins' first trip downtown and I think they (we) handled it like a pro. :) I think the older kids really enjoyed the dolphin show and looking at the sharks.

Happy Easter

Well, since the snow has put a damper on Easter festivities around this town, the children were happy the Easter Bunny did make a stop to drop off some baskets. They were a little disappointed that the eggs were not hidden in the yard this year, but where would he possibly be able to hide them?

Easter Egg Hunt

Well it was supposed to be an Easter egg hunt, but due to the foot of snow we received on Friday, the Easter Bunny couldn't make his usual drop offs around town for egg hunts. This year at the Moose, each child was given a bag of 10 eggs to get a chance to win a new bike. No luck again, this year.

Easter Eggs

Tonight we dyed Easter eggs. I think we did about 70 eggs altogether...I hope everyone loves egg salad! Mingma and Papa came over to help and get their hands dirty. The twins sat this one out again this year. They had such a big day yesterday, they were still tired!

Cozy Coupe Fun

As you can see from the pictures, the twins love their new car. (Thank you Aunt Katie, Uncle Phil, and cousins Claire and Maddie!!! I think Max and Megan enjoy it just as much, because they can push them all around with it.

Happy Birthday Keira and Connor!!!

Today, Keira and Connor both celebrate the big ONE. Talk about where did the time go? It seems just like yesterday that I was burping one and feeding the other. I am so glad that they can self feed now :) I will post some pics up later on of them enjoying their cake ( and hopefully eating it too).

***The twins still haven't opened all of their presents. They definitely loved the balloons that Mingma and Papa got them. They are still trying to figure out the car that Aunt Katie got them. When you place Connor in the drivers seat, he kind of slides right out under the wheels. Keira loved being pushed around by her big sib's.

When it came to the cake... Connor was all about the cake, Keira on the other hand, was all ladylike and petite. Picking at it with her fingers and not making a mess. As you can see from the pictures, that just wasn't the case for Connor.

As I was sitting here on the downstairs computer, posting these pictures on the Blog, Max asked me if he could vacuum. I think he didn't think I would take him seriously. I jumped at the offer.

We found this shirt at Target, and found it quite amusing.. I just need to get him to flex in it.
