Girl Scout Corn Maze

Once again the girl scout troop went to Kroll's farm for the corn maze and hay ride. The weather held out just long enough for us so we didnt get rained on. The girls had a good time. After the maze Megan had to rush off to a birthday party :)

Megan's Volleyball season

We have been so busy with Megan's first year of volleyball at school. She really enjoyed the season and they only lost a few games. We had many practices and a few games each week. Here is a pic from the season.. She also was voted the most improved all around player.

Connor's first haircut

After 2 1/2 years, Connor finally had his first haircut.. My bald little boy was starting to get a baby mullet, so we had to get that cut off. Our friend Aerial, who is graduating from beauty school next month, graciously cut Connor's hairs :)

Happy Birthday Maddie!!

We want to wish little Maddikins a very happy 3rd birthday!! We wish we could be there to celebrate with you. Hope you are having fun!!!

Labor day parade

This year for the parade Bill walked with both Max and Megan representing OLH. They got to throw candy to the kids and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Our float for the school won for the best animation. It was pretty cool. I sat on the curb with Keira and Connor collecting the many tootsie rolls and suckers. Both the twins were not feeling 100%, but they sucked it up and had fun.

Family Farm Time

We spent some time at the farm this weekend. We got to do some fishin' and playin' outside in the beautiful weather.

First day of school

Today was the first day of school. Woohoooo!!! Megan is in the 5th grade and Max is in 1st.

Megan has already attended a volleyball camp and is ready to practice for the team. She is finally old enough to do things, as she would say. She was somewhat excited to get back to school to see her old friends and to see what the 5th grade will bring her. Max (and Mommy) were very excited about his 1st grade teacher, she is so nice and I have heard so many good things about her, he should have an excellent year.

When I took the kids to school, Megan was ready to ditch me and head off to her class line up, she had all her goods and was gone. I was only able to get a few pictures of her while I kept getting "Mom!!", so I let her be :)

Max on the other hand had so much stuff to bring in, I walked him into his class and helped him get situated along with most of the other parents.

Baby Colin visit... (and his family)

It was a quick trip home by Kate and family for Colin's baptism. They came in on Friday afternoon and were gone early Monday morning. On Saturday we had the baptism at OLH, lunch at Phil's parents house, swimming at the Bruno's and then a quick run to Target and Babies R Us for Kate to get a quick fix of the civilized world.

Sunday was a bit more relaxed, we ate breakfast and lunch at the parent's house and got to spend some quality time visiting with the family.

Even though it was a quick visit, we were glad to get to see them all.

20 year class reunion (Bill not me :))

This weekend was Bill's 20 year class reunion from high school and it was very fun filled. It started off with a mixer at Tropics on Friday night. He got to catch up with friends he hasn't seen since he graduated. I knew a few people there but since he is 4 years older, all this crew was out when I got in. Saturday night was a nice sit down dinner at Thunderhawk with lots of 80's music playing and a few doing some good ol fashioned breakdancin'. Good times... On Sunday, there were a few peeps that got together at Stone Creek for some lunch and last minute catching up.
