Fun Fair

We packed up the kids and went to the fun fair in Winthrop Harbor. It was a crappy day outside, so I figured the kids could blow off some steam indoors. All the kids had a good time, except Connor. He was not in a good mood and spent most of the time rolling around on the ground having a fit :) But he had fun for about 5 minutes :)

Max's Key Lime Cove B-day trip

Instead of having a birthday party, Max wanted to go and stay at Key Lime Cove Waterpark.
So the whole fam spent the night there and had a blast. The pictures from the actual park didnt turn out to well, so all you get to see is us sleeping and eating :)

Max's Birthday/ Superbowl/ Cub Scout awards

This was a fun filled day. Max turned 7, the Saints won the superbowl and Max received his Pinewood Derby trophies.

Mindy's 30th B-day 80's prom style

We went to a 30th birthday party that was decked out as an 80's prom. We had to dress appropriately and enjoy everything 80's through out the night. It was awesome. Everybody had such a great time and it was nice to go retro too :)

Megan plays basketball

Megan played basketball this winter. She enjoyed playing with her friends, but she doesn't think this is her game :) She is #20. The whole season was instructional, so we didn't keep track of wins or losses. She did score some during the year, but she liked to pass it to the other girls that were not afraid to shoot :)

Pine Derby Race

Max had his Cub Scout Pine Derby race and his car placed 1st over all.. His car beat out all of the other cub scouts in his troop and he beat out all of the older boy scouts too. Poor thing didn't feel good the whole time either. He would lay down on the bleachers between races and really tried to be a trooper. The 2nd place ribbon is really a 1st place, they mismarked them :)

Merry Christmas

St. Nicholas Day and Breakfast with Santa

The kids woke up to find goodies in their stockings from St. Nicholas. Connor consumed all of his chocolate coins before he even left for 9:00 mass and breakfast with the jolly old big man. Connor was happy to see Santa because he was giving out candy. He actually told Santa he wants "Campers", I guess the boy likes to camp. Keira handled it well too and didnt freak out. This is the first pic of the kids with Santa and us not in the shot. :)
