Monkey Joes

I decided to take the twins to Monkey Joe's to let them burn off some energy. This is a place that is nothing but inflatable jumpy things. The twins absolutely loved it. They bounced their little hearts out.

Shroomin' '10

We headed down to the farm a little bit earlier than usual this year to try and find some morels. We only found about 10 little ones, but we had fun visiting with grandma.

Max's world

Max had some good times this month so far.. The day we went to Peoria, he stayed with Grandma Pam and Papa George and got to race his pinewood derby car again at the Moose. He was up against some tough competition, but came out victorious!! He was so proud of himself, and to top it off Papa George gave him $100 bucks!

His boy scout troop also had their Dad & Lad cake bake off this month too.. Mommy came up with the idea of making a cool rocket ship out of cupcakes and then frosting them.. Daddy canned that idea and came up with the idea of making an aircraft carrier with less than 1 hour and 30 minutes before meeting time.. Well it turned out ok, even though we were frosting a very warm cake :)

Peoria visit

We got to celebrate some early wedding festivities with Bill's cousin Shannon and her fiance Dan. It was nice to see family we haven't seen in awhile and catch up with.

Easter Egg Hunts

The kids got to do two different Easter egg hunts this year and they had a blast doing them.. Keira was only interested in the pink eggs, but she sucked it up and collected others too.
