This year Megan's Girl Scout troop chose to go to Libby Lu to spend the money they earned selling cookies. Megan chose a beautiful dress to get all made up in. All the girls got their hair, nails, and face done. They also got to make some bath soaps, body spritz, lip gloss and lotions, by picking and choosing the colors and scents. Once they were all done getting all glammed up or Hannah Montana'd up, they got to sing and dance.

It was a nice cool 93 degrees out today, so I packed up the kiddies and a neighbor girl and off to the pool we went. The kids had a good time cooling off and I even dipped Keira's piggies in the water. She seemed to like it, Connor just slept in the shade in his seat. We only stayed for an hour and that was plenty.
Took a few pics of the babies over the past couple days, since I only had them to take pics of.
Megan and Max came back tonight and had a great time camping with Grandma Pam and Papa George. Max got to go fishing and Megan learned how to drive :) I dont have any pics from their camping fun, but their smiles were huge when they got home. They missed the babies and we missed them being gone for so long. Thank you Grandma and Papa!

OK OK, did I sound a bit excited? On Wednesday Grandma Pam watched all 4 kiddies at our house and then since I needed a babysitter for Friday too, she took Megan and Max camping until Sunday. 5 days without having all 4 kids around.. It was kinda strange, but it was quiet. Max was excited to go, he knew he was getting a rocket fishing pole to use and Megan gets to learn how to drive a golf cart.
So when 5 p.m. came and I got home.. They all piled in Grandma's Suburban and away they went.
When I went to bed last night, it was after midnight and I thought Bill had joined me. I think I must have fallen asleep quickly and maybe he sneaked out. I haven't found the robe and the wizard hat yet, but I did find him in the recliner this morning.
****Update*** Book finished at 9:30 p.m Sunday and he was kind of disappointed in the way it all ended. I won't say anymore.
It was time for the annual family fun fest at Heidi's work. There was tons of food and games for the kids. They got to ride down the giant slide and do the chicken dance.

After we got home from Max's T-Ball game Megan called Emmalee and wanted her to spend the night, since Mommy didnt have to work on Tuesday. Nikki dropped off Emmalee at about 8:00 and the girls immediately went downstairs to play Barbies. They played for hours and then slept in until 9:30. They surfaced for breakfast and then went right back downstairs to continue playing. They played really well together and really enjoyed the time spent playing.
It was time for the annual Daylily sale on Bill's grandparents farm. It was hot and very windy, but we grabbed our forks and dug up what the public demanded.
Max and Megan went down with Mingma and Papa on Thursday night and got to spend time with Aunt Cindy and cousin Chris. We came down with Connor and Keira and spent all day Saturday with family.

Megan and Max got to spend some time with Emmalee and Andrew when they were here visiting from Australia. Megan got to go swimming with them and really enjoyed spending time with the kids. They play so well together. Here are some pics that Nikki gave us from the fun day in the pool.

It was a Daddy and Max day at the movies. I am not sure who was more excited to go see it. They both came home singing the theme song, and playing with their new toys.
I just don't get it. :)
We spent the morning repacking our van and making sure we still had room for 4 kids in it. We got on the road at about 11 am and spent the next 5 1/2 hours on the road. We took this picture of the bluffs in Niagara, Wisconsin on our way out of town.
When we got home, we came back to a yard full of trees. There was a storm that blew thru when we were gone and took down a big piece of our neighbors tree, which in turn took out a bunch of branches of our tree. I guess it looked worse than this, they had cleaned some of it up and fixed the fence that was down.
Today we packed up our stuff and headed back out to Grandma Helloween (Helene) and Papa Whirl's (Earl) house again. We washed off the camp smell and chilled out on our last day here. Connor and Keira enjoyed sleeping on the porch for their naps. Megan and Max enjoyed their watermelon outside on the steps.
Happy 4th of July!!
Max and Megan got up early and went into town with Lauren to watch the parade. When they got back it was time to go tubing again. This time it was Bill, Heidi, Max, Megan, Tyler and Lauren. Max rode in Daddy's lap and they shared a tube.
About 10 minutes into our ride, the sky started to get dark and it was clear that a storm was blowing in. Here we are in the middle of the river sitting in tubes, the wind starts picking up and low and behold here comes the rain. It wasn't a gentle rain either, it was borderline hail pounding on all our backs. Max had his head buried in his life jacket and the rest of us had most of our bodies under the water holding on to our tubes. You could see the next round of the storm coming up the river at us, so we could prepare ourselves. We made it through the rapids, got out and did the rapids portion one more time and then we saw Scott there to pick us up, so we bailed for camp. Good thing we did, because then the thunder and lightning started up. I am glad it waited until after we exited the water :)
Once we got back to camp and dried off, it was time to eat and time for fireworks.

Once again the guys all got up and went golfing. This time it was Bill, Tony, Paul, Ray, Keith and Wiss.
This time they hit a new course in Crystal Falls Crystal Falls Golf Course
. Heidi ran into town and did laundry and ran some errands while the guys were gone.
When the guys came back it was time to go tubing down the Menominee River.
Where we tube
It's a tradition each year to float lazily down the river and go over the rapids multiple times. This year we had Bill, Heidi, Megan, Max, Scott, Tyler, Jess(Tylers woman.) Megan went all by herself this year. She didnt need me to hold her tube as we did the rapids. Max went down the river and the rapids with Uncle Scott in his kayak. The babies were left at camp with all the baby holders, Phyliss, Marge, and Grandma Helloween.
The guys all got up and went golfing; Bill, Tony, Keith, Paul, Ray and Sean. They were gone most of the day. They hit Bomber's golf course in Niagra, Wisconsin.

We spent the day visiting with family and enjoying the great outdoors. Temperatures hung in the upper 70's and there were many outdoor games to play.
