Max lost a tooth

For about the last week, Max has been using his tongue to play with his newly found loose tooth. He kept saying his tooth hurt and when we opened up his chops to look and see the problem, we found that his adult tooth was already coming in under this baby one. So with enough playing around and eating the right foods, out it came. He was so excited that it fell out he was carrying it around all over the house before bed. Then it came to his attention that he LOST it somewhere in the house. We searched all over the place. We even took the recliner apart, since that was the last place he remembered seeing it. After some sniffles about losing the tooth, his big sister Megan wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy stating that her brother really did lose his tooth this evening and was quite depressed about it and would really like a visit even though he didn't have a tooth to place under his pillow. He was OK with the note Megan wrote and they put it under his pillow. About an hour after Max went to bed, Daddy put on his slipper and low and behold, the tooth was somehow lost in there. We woke up Max to tell him we found it, but he was so out of it, he doesn't remember the conversation. We placed the tooth under the pillow and he woke up to find the money he was hoping for.

Oh no! Can Nathan's tooth be far behind? I haven't heard of any loose ones yet...

Awwww! What a big boy. And what a nice big sister he has, to write him a note for the tooth fairy. Glad the fairy found him (and that you found the tooth!). :)

Max, you now have a great tooth story to tell your kids some day. And, Megan, congratulations on being such a good big sister. By the way, when you lose something, try saying a prayer to St. Anthony. He's a big help.
